Siomai is a traditional Chinese food made of ground meat (pork, chicken or beef) wrapped with wonton or siomai wrapper.
Ingredients:

1 1/2 lb ground pork
3/4 cup onion (minced)
3/4 cup carrots (minced)
1 egg
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
wonton or siomai wrapper

Dipping Sauce:
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp lemon or calamansi
chili paste (optional)

Procedure:

1.  Combine all the ingredients together except the wrapper.

2.  Wrap the mean in wanton wrapper by placing about 1 tbsp of meat in the center of the wrapper then press all the sides to the middle leaving an open space on top.

3.  Place all the wrapped meat in the steamer. (You can use rice cooker with steamer)

4.  Steam for 20 -25 minutes.

5.  Serve with dipping sauce.

Serve hot and enjoy!
